By booking and participating in the RV Farm Stay and Butchering Class experience at Hardmead Farm, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

RV Rental Rules

Prohibited Activities

  • No smoking inside the RV at any time
  • No pets allowed in the RV or on the property
  • No open flames inside the RV, including candles, lighters, or any fire-producing devices
  • No illegal drug use on the property

Property Damage

  • Guests are responsible for any damage to the RV beyond normal wear and tear
  • Security deposits will not be refunded if damage occurs that exceeds normal wear and tear
  • Determination of what constitutes damage beyond normal wear and tear is at the sole discretion of Hardmead Farm

Safety and Liability

Assumption of Risk

  • Guests acknowledge that farm activities carry inherent risks
  • Hardmead Farm is not responsible for injury, illness, or death that may occur during your stay or participation in farm activities
  • Guests must use common sense and exercise personal responsibility at all times

Wildlife Awareness

  • Venomous snakes including rattlesnakes and cottonmouths are present on the property
  • While not commonly encountered, this is rural Texas and wildlife encounters are possible
  • Guests are responsible for their own safety regarding wildlife interactions

Safety Instructions

  • Hardmead Farm will provide safety instructions and guidelines
  • Following these instructions is mandatory but does not transfer liability to Hardmead Farm
  • Guests participate in all activities at their own risk

Educational Class Terms

Student Participation Requirements

  • Students are required to take an active role in the butchering class
  • Participation includes hands-on learning and following all instructor guidance

Educational Disclaimer

  • Hardmead Farm is not responsible for non-transfer of education or learning outcomes
  • Hardmead Farm will teach the class to the best of their ability
  • All necessary and known information will be shared during instruction
  • Learning outcomes depend on student participation and engagement

Class Content

  • Class curriculum is subject to change based on conditions and safety considerations
  • Hardmead Farm reserves the right to modify activities as needed for safety or educational purposes

General Terms

Booking and Cancellation

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Cancellation policy is strict, no refund for cancellation

Property Rules

  • Guests must respect the property and follow all posted guidelines
  • Fishing and property exploration are permitted with proper care and respect for the land

Indemnification

  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hardmead Farm from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their stay or participation in activities

Acknowledgment

By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. You understand the inherent risks involved in farm activities and wildlife encounters, and you accept full responsibility for your safety and well-being during your stay.
